Product Activation for MacPOSx This is a two step process and you only need to send a request for an activation code after entering your company name and address in the Company Information preferences window.
Your request is sent to us and we confirm the license holder information. The activation code is sent to the email address entered in the Company Preferences.
After entering the activation code, MacPOSx will function normally. You will have 30 days to complete the activation process.
If you do not complete this process in 30 days, MacPOSx will no longer Print
after the 30 days has
elapsed. You will still have access to your data. An alert will appear in the last 7 days before printing is disabled.
The activation code is stored in your MacPOSX database folder. The activation is NOT tied to that Mac that the original activation was performed on and you can still move the program and your data freely to any of your Macs.
• Start
MacPOSx • Enter your company name, address and email information in the
Company Preferences • Select
Product Activation from the
MacPOSx Help menu

• Click
Continue to confirm your company information was entered correctly.
• Ensure the
Request an Activation code is selected with the Select menu button
• Click on the
Send button

You should see a successful connection as shown below.

We will send an email with the activation code to the address entered in the
Company Preferences and the process for entering it and completing the process.
When you receive the code, follow the steps in the email or below.
• Select
Product Activation from the
MacPOSx Help menu
• Enter the
Activation Code and set the
Select button as shown with
Submit Activation Code selected.

• Click the
Done button after a successful connection and code validation.
Changing the Company Name or the street address will invalidate the activation code and the process will have to be repeated.
The other company information fields in the Preferences are not used in the validation of the activation code and changing them will have no effect.
