POS Receipt format

Below are some of the POS receipt formats available to use with MacPOS.  You can download and install these and modify them further to meet your needs.



Download the file  receiptlayout001.zip   


To use this format, follow the steps below

• Start MacPOS
• Open the program to the sale window
• Enable the Edit mode 
• Select Layout>View Receipt Layout from the Document menu
• Enter the Layout mode
• Select Open from the File menu
• Select the _receiptlayout001 to Open

The receipt on your screen should now change to look like that shown above.

• Click Done or Save in Layout Editor window to save and overwrite your existing one
• Click Revert to cancel all changes since the last time you saved the changes

Download and install this file for Remote Printer # 3   

This example doesn't include pricing and much of the information contained on the standard receipt and is set for printing to a KITCHEN printer for food items.

To use this format, follow the steps below

• Start MacPOS
• Open the program to the sale window
• Enable the Edit mode 
• Select Layout>View Receipt Layout from the Document menu
• Enter the Layout mode
• Select Layout>5- Remote Printer 3 from the Document menu
• Select Open from the File menu
• Select the _kitchenreceiptlayout001 to Open

The receipt on your screen should now change to look like that shown above.

• Click Done or Save in Layout Editor window to save and overwrite your existing one
• Click Revert to cancel all changes since the last time you saved the changes

Download and install this file for printing a receipt that a customer can fill in the TIPS and total order amount.

A TIP Receipt can be printed at any time by adding Control field #19 to your sales window layout.  Name the button as needed.
Clicking on this control will print a receipt without any further action required by the clerk.

Both the TIP field and TOTAL field will be blank when it prints this format.

To use this format, follow the steps below

• Enable the Edit mode 
• Select Layout>View Receipt Layout from the Document menu
• Enter the Layout mode
• Select Layout>8-Tip Receipt from the Document menu
• Select Open from the File menu
• Select the _tipreceiptlayout001 to Open

The receipt on your screen should now change to look like that shown above.

• Click Done or Save in Layout Editor window to save and overwrite your existing one
• Click Revert to cancel all changes since the last time you saved the changes
